Its ruggedness and reliability are legendary. The large gas piston, generous clearances between moving parts, and tapered cartridge case design allow the gun to endure large amounts of foreign matter and fouling without failing to cycle.
The AK-47 is chambered in 7.62x39 and features a stamped receiver, and hardwood furniture with a fixed stock. Barrel is 16 inches with a slanted muzzle brake.
Has an 800 meter leaf sight that is adjustable for range/elevation. Windage is adjusted by movement of the front sight.
Fires semi-auto or full-auto (600 rounds per minute).
The rifle will accept all standard AK-47 synthetic and metal magazines. Also features a hollow compartment in the buttstock to keep the cleaning kit.
The bore and chamber, as well as the gas piston and the interior of the gas cylinder, are chromium plated. This plating dramatically increases the life of these parts by resisting corrosion and wear.
