Gordon B. Ingram (Military Armament Corporation -- MAC) designed the M10. Wayne Daniels (SWD Corporation) modified the original M10 design to create the SWD M11/9.

A "MAX-11 Slow Fire Upper" is available from Lage Manufacturing, which reduces the rate of fire to 600 RPM, and makes the SWD M11/9 a highly accurate weapon for target shooting competition.

The MAX-11 upper receiver also gives the gun a side-cocking knob, adjustable sights, flash suppressor, Picatinny top and bottom rails, optional Picatinny side rails, and great options in stocks and grips.

The SWD M11/9 is an excellent choice in full autos, especially as a first time Class III weapon purchase, and is one of the most customizable full autos in the world.
